USL PRO announced its Team of the Week for the sixth week of the 2012 season today, honoring Rochester Rhinos goalkeeper Kristian Nicht as Player of the Week after he extended his shutout streak to six games with an outstanding 10-save performance on Saturday night against the Charleston Battery at Blackbaud Stadium. Nicht, who has yet to concede a goal as the Rhinos have tied the USL PRO record with six consecutive victories to start a season, was remarkable against the Battery.
City Islanders Set For Riverhounds
Opening game of Keystone Derby arrives Wednesday night
The Harrisburg City Islanders will welcome their cross-state rivals the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. to Skyline Sports Complex in Harrisburg, Pa. The game will be the first of three matches this season between the two teams and will be the lone contest in Harrisburg, as the City Islanders and Riverhounds will meet twice in Pittsburgh in July. The two clubs split the season series in 2011, with each team winning their respective home match.

Faces rival Wednesday aiming to snap four-game losing streak
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds (2-5-0) have suffered four straight losses and look to get back on track with two games in three days. The Riverhounds travel to the State Capital to square off with the Harrisburg City Islanders (1-1-2) on Wednesday for the first meeting of the 2012 Keystone Derby. The Riverhounds then return to Pittsburgh for a Friday night match up at Chartiers Valley against the Richmond Kickers (1-2-3).
Rhinos Announce Hall of Famers
Miller, Demmin, Onstad to be inducted on June 30th
The Rochester Rhinos will induct Craig Demmin, Doug Miller and Pat Onstad into their Hall of Fame in the Class of 2012. The three Rhinos legends will join Lenin Steenkamp, the club’s inaugural Hall of Fame selection in 2011, in the Rhinos Hall of Fame. The Rochester Rhinos Hall of Fame Night will be on Saturday, June 30th as the club hosts the Harrisburg City Islanders. Each Hall of Fame inductee will also be honored with a limited-edition bobblehead during the 2012 season.

Reading standout was PDL All-Conference selection
The Harrisburg City Islanders have announced the signing of goalkeeper Brian Holt for the 2012 season. Holt joins the club after a highly decorated four-year career at Creighton University. The Omaha, Neb. native was named Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year in 2008 before receiving All-MVC Second-Team honors during his sophomore and junior seasons. As a senior, Holt received NSCAA First-Team All-American honors after setting an NCAA record with a 0.207 goals against average.
