PITTSBURGH, PA -- The Pittsburgh Riverhounds will hold a two-day mini-camp this weekend, Saturday March 15th and Sunday March 16th, in preparation for the 2008 season. All of the training will take place outdoors and on artificial (Field Turf) surfaces.
On Saturday, Head Coach and General Manager Gene Klein will hold a brief team meeting at the Radisson - Green Tree, the Riverhounds base hotel. The squad will gather at Quaker Valley High School's Chuck Knox Stadium on the Ohio River Boulevard (PA Route 65 North) just past Sewickley. Workouts will be held in two sessions; 9 to 11 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Coach Klein and his staff will then hold another team meeting and individual meetings will all players in camp.
On Sunday, the training sessions will take place at Keystone Oaks High School in Dormont. They will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 2 to 4 p.m. Some players may attend exit meetings with Coach Klein and his staff at the Riverhounds' offices at the Greentree Sportsplex.

The Riverhounds' Home Opener will be Saturday May 3rd at their new home, Chartiers Valley High School Stadium. Pittsburgh will host the defending United Soccer League 2nd Division Champion Harrisburg City Islanders.
